Evening sailing starts

Summer evening sailing starts on 7th May at Ardleigh Sailing club. For all those interested, this comprises a one hour race starting at 7pm on Wednesday evenings. It is a friendly and relaxed series and is an ideal opportunity for those who want to improve the racing skills or trying out competitive sailing for the first time. All club members are welcome!

New Wayfarers boost sails

Ardleigh Sailing Club has invested in two Mark II Wayfarers which will be available for club members and for Sunday training. These are an addition to the club's fleet of boats which include Optimists and OKs. The boats are kitted out to racing spec and boast spinnaker gear and roller reefing jibs. They will primarily be used on Sunday afternoons for the adult training courses but may also be booked, by competent crew, for club racing or cruising. For those interested sessions can reserved at the club or by speaking to the Sailing Secretary. These boats are also an addition to the new support boat that the club has recently invested in.
