Welcome to the home page of the Ardleigh Sailing Club training program. This area will contain loads of information about the adult and children's training programmes, from beginners right through to the race training courses.

Please note that training is offered to ASC members only.

Training is given high priority at Ardleigh and occurs during the summer months. Training is offered for free by experienced members and has proved successful year after year. Ardleigh offers four different types of training course for all ages. The four courses we offer are a junior beginners course and a junior intermediate course. We also offer a adults beginners course and a adults intermediate course. The beginners course are for members with limited or no sailing experience, but by the end of the course will be able to sail a simple triangle circuit. The intermediate course is for members who can sail a simple triangle circuit, but by the end of the course will be able to sail in all direction and easily know where the wind is coming from.
