Early Spring Series starts on Sunday 22nd March.

Easter Sunday - 5th April we will hold the Easter Plate Races.

3 slightly shorter ~35 minute races back to back :-)

Please note that on Sunday 9th November, racing will follow a revised timetable.

Will we be observing the national 2 minute silence for Remembrance Day at 11am. 

Please have boats rigged and ready beforehand as we intend to start racing asap after this.

From Sunday 16th March - 4th May 2025.  7x weekends of Racing.  Open to club members.

One not to miss...  ASC has recently become a bit of a winter stronghold for the Phantoms, with regular entry figures of 8-10 boats. 

Rumour has it now that they love the club so much that ASC has become the official home of the first Phantom Eastern Region Open event ;) 

2025 is no different and ASC is pleased to be hosting the event once again. 

Make a note in the diary for March 8th & 9th and come along to see just what the big fellas can do... 

Saturday 8th usually consists of a training day, some light hearted  practise racing, Sunday 9th - its all serious racing for the season opener.

Come along for the weekend - it may just haunt you if you dont...

Next weekend - the annual ASC Phantom Open.  Saturday 8th - Training day - supported by local legends.  Sunday 10th - back to back fleet racing.  Come on down to support the first open of 2025 at ASC!

Starting Sunday 5th January - The much anticipated - closely contended ASC Frostbite series.  10 weekends, 20 Races (2x every Sunday)  Race briefing 10:00am, Race start: 10:30am sharp.  Non Members welcome - £30pp inc boat storage.

With tricky gusting winds, more easterly than expected,  Gavin and Matt set a challenging course.

Godfrey kept Steve on his toes and they both certainly earned their beer prizes with Phil staying comfortably ahead of Duncan.

Tony has agreed to continue the mid week supported sailing - but he needs help with two things...

1) a second person in the safety boat, so he can coach,

2) to not be sat there with no-one turning up to sail!

Everyone is welcome on a wednesday evening racing or not, it's much less competetive and some of us are just happy to be on the water so are happy to be coaching instead.

Keep an eye out on the Sailing Club WhatsApp Group for a message from Tony asking who wants Tuesdays to restart.

The persuit race series starts Wednesday 10th April - a week early this year due to the early Easter.

Persuit race format so no frantic start line shenanigans to worry about, slower PY boats set off first with any Phantoms trying to chase you down as they have a 7 minute delay.

Whoever is in the lead at 45minutes is the winner, so everyone is racing for position on the water!
